MES Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

MES has a new traffic route for 2nd and 3rd grade morning drop-off and all-grade afternoon pick-up. Please follow the yellow route shown on the map below.

2nd & 3rd Grade Drop-Off + All Grades Pick-Up

  1. From North Eisenhower Street, turn west onto West Cale Street.
  2. Turn left onto Linden Avenue.
  3. Continue south on Linden Avenue and turn right onto the drive just past the Daycare building.
  4. Follow the new roadway between the older MES playground/track area and the outdoor classroom.
  5. Continue around the roadway until it leads you into the MES front parking lot and designated drop-off/pick-up area.
  6. Follow staff directions and posted traffic flow as you move through the lane.
  7. Follow the roadway to Learning Lane.
  8. Continue north on Learning Lane and exit onto West County Street.

 

1st Grade Drop-Off Route

First-grade families should follow the purple route shown on the map for morning drop-off.

  1. From North Eisenhower Street, turn west onto West Dunn Street.
  2. Continue west on West Dunn Street toward Monett Elementary School.
  3. Follow the roadway onto the school property and continue along the drive between MES and the playground.
  4. Proceed through the designated 1st Grade drop-off area, following posted signs and staff directions.
  5. After your student has been dropped off, continue forward through the traffic lane.
  6. Follow the roadway to Learning Lane.
  7. Continue north on Learning Lane and exit onto West County Street.
