Ana Espinoza, Communication Coordinator for the Monett School District, has been named one of Missouri School Public Relations Association's 2021 New Professional of the Year.
The primary criteria for the Professional of the Year Award is that the recipient is in their first 18 months in the field of public relations and has exhibited a creative, dedicated, and professional approach to school communications.
MOSPRA President, Kelly Wachel, APR, stated, “MOSPRA is proud to recognize Ana for her incredible work as a new communications professional. She is a tremendous asset to the Monett Schools and we are confident that she will continue to risine as a leader in our association.”
Monett’s Interim Superintendent, Dr. Kent Medlin, wrote of Ana, “The pandemic has been challenging for all public school districts. This challenging year was made significantly more difficult in Monett due to the tragic loss of the district's Superintendent of Schools. Throughout this difficult time, Ana has excelled in her duties to communicate the Monett story. Her positive attitude and approach to life makes those around her feel better about themselves and our efforts for Monett students. She is a light in our community and our district.”
