We are committed to creating a school where every child feels seen, valued, and loved, because we know students thrive when they feel safe, supported, and connected.

Our work is grounded in strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared belief in the potential of every student. We strive to provide meaningful learning experiences that challenge students while giving them the encouragement, support, and opportunities they need to be successful. We celebrate growth, encourage perseverance, and help our students develop confidence in themselves as learners.

The Monett Way is an important part of our school culture. We want our students to understand that character matters just as much as achievement. Through the Monett Way and our Profile of a Cub, we help students learn to communicate, collaborate, think critically, show kindness, take responsibility, and continue growing into the best versions of themselves.

We also recognize that our families are an essential part of the MES community. When families and schools communicate openly, support one another, and share high expectations for students, we create the strongest possible foundation for success.

It is a privilege to serve the students and families of Monett Elementary. Our goal is for every child to leave MES having grown academically and personally and knowing, without question, that they belonged, they mattered, and there were people here who believed in them.
