150-Day Academic Calendar Exploration
Monett Schools is exploring a potential 150-Day Academic Calendar. Our current academic calendar includes approximately 180 school days. A 150-day calendar would reduce the number of days students are in school while increasing the length of the school day.
No decision has been made to change our academic calendar, and our calendar will not change this school year. The district is currently exploring what a 150-day calendar could look like and whether it is a viable option for our students, families, staff, and community.
